After a year of dealing with high GPU costs, I began experimenting with overclocking. I upgraded my CPU and GPU and then moved on to the RAM. Currently, I have two 8GB G Skill Trident 3600 RGB boards at 1.35V, running at 4000 MHz with the same voltage. My question is whether this setup is strong or just mediocre.

I believe the 3800 C17 will function exactly as expected.

Nope, 3800 C17 would run a bit quicker—around 1% faster.

The setup at 4000 C17/16 with 1.37 volts is stable.

I haven't tested it yet. It's a Samsung B-Die, so I might be able to try it out. At 1.35 volts, the maximum is around 4000 CAS 18.

Great setup, keeping it around 17-17-17-37 with a 1.37v pace on 4000 time for that OCCT run.

That's the best I could do. If C16 works, that's fine, but I'd test 1.36v first to check for a boot. 1.37 is a bit higher than the usual comfortable driving voltage.

I believe 17-17-17-37 at 4000mhz with 1.37v is the limit. I attempted to reduce the voltage but had no success. It’s unclear if 1.37v is safe. I’ve heard these Samsung batteries are rated for 1.4v.

I’d feel comfortable reaching up to 1.45V for regular tasks.

Case 17 4000 at 1.37 did not pass the test. I switched back to my previous configuration.
