If possible, turn off v-sync in your game and attempt again. Adjusting your CPU has minimal impact on FPS. The CPU mainly improves responsiveness when there are too many tasks to process. It also relies a lot on how the game is coded.

You should also check your minimum requirements, not just the average. I’m certain upgrading from Ivy to Zen 3 is a significant upgrade—just focus on finding games that offer much higher FPS with that CPU compared to Ivy.
