The best solution seems to be joining Verizon, Comcast, AT&T, and others into smaller companies so they can offer clearer and faster internet services.

Verizon gigabit performs quite well, it’s not terrible. Yes, it usually delivers gigabit speeds and handles most tasks smoothly. In the US, ISPs generally offer competitive gigabit service similar to other providers. Personally, I experienced speeds under 1mb per second during a summer at the beach last year.

seems like Ting offers a solid deal at $89 per month, which isn't terrible for a gig—just hope they add more options.

Verizon provides 80 for gigabit with a two-year agreement. While it's true that some users stick with DSL, Verizon remains a solid choice in comparison to many other providers across the country.

I really dislike these new customer service approaches. We pay $120 for 100 units, but when my dad talks to them, I feel like they only give us $10 off and no TV or streaming box.
