I registered for the beta a while back and placed the pre-order. Still, I haven’t received access. On Battle.net it shows I’m signed up, but the desktop app says I’m not invited yet. It’s frustrating since I paid and signed up. Anyone have any idea why or how to fix this?

It's uncertain if you'll join the beta. They'll send out invitations in waves, and you might be invited eventually. That's what blizzard has usually done before.

That’s not true. I registered about four months ago and paid $120. I expected to be at the top, but it didn’t happen.

Unfortunately, the sum provided isn't very significant. They operate according to their own processes. It could be random or based on a thorough approach, I don't know.

Unless told otherwise by Blizzard, closed beta isn't available even for preorders. I don’t care about Overwatch, but I’m somehow in the beta—since the release of WOTLK, I’ve been through every Blizzard beta. Probably just a coincidence.

I think the beta remains restricted to friends and family. It’s useful to have someone at Bliz if you’re interested. They’ve made significant improvements in the game since the latest update, and it’s much smoother now compared to before. (No, I can’t or won’t let you join the beta)
