Hello, I want to start by saying I’m a very satisfied Windows 7 user. After the poor interface design of Windows 10, I won’t ever be upgrading again. That’s settled. Now, regarding my question: since newer CPUs don’t support Windows 7, what would be the ideal, fully supported build? It needs to have a specific CPU—like DDR4, overclocked, professional motherboard, etc.—and it must work without any community or third-party patches. I’m aiming for a machine that delivers everything without compromises. This is coming from my recent experience switching from Windows 10 to Windows 7, and I’m hoping someone can help me out. Louis

It seems the main problem is that W7 doesn't support USB3.

If the installation succeeds, Microsoft may block updates for the operating system. For the most suitable choice, consider 1150 (Haswell, Devil's Canyon) or LGA 2011-3 for additional cores compared to other options.
