I'm really glad I can assist someone too! To be honest, one of the most secure options is safe, but if you prefer PayPal, it's still a good idea to shop there. It's called vip-scdkey.com and you can apply the code 'SKGS' for a small discount.

Kinguin is a good option. Or save the money (because the OS isn't worth a dime) and don't pay for it

The most reliable method is purchasing an official key from Microsoft or through a trusted retailer. This ensures your key remains yours and doesn’t disappear unexpectedly. Keys sold on reseller sites often come from various sources, with differing levels of reliability. - Trading or selling an older Windows key for a 10/11 license is common and can be effective if you obtain a genuine boxed license. - In certain areas, cheaper key deals exist, and these may appear on reseller platforms for profit. - Some companies or individuals within organizations hold unused GVLK keys and resell them. - Certain sellers may repeat the sale of a single key multiple times, as activation servers require several steps. - Other options include Dreamspark keys, keys recovered from discarded electronics, etc. - Additionally, software keys are frequently used to disguise stolen funds. Ultimately, it depends on your priorities—whether you value security or just need a key.

Keep the funds in an inactive version, no need to engage with it.

It seems you're asking about using a non-functional Windows copy. That's acceptable for a backup or archival purpose.

You can use an older Windows 7 Pro key on a modern Windows 11 system. I have plenty of those keys that don’t require buying new ones from Microsoft for Windows 10 or 11.

Kinguin/NextKeys.io appears to be a legitimate platform for obtaining licenses. You only require the Pro version to cover VM usage, and it seems reasonable to spend around $200 for an OEM license that lasts a few years. The conflicting reports might stem from misunderstandings about the licensing terms.
