Hey, I searched online but most results seem to focus only on certain settings. Some suggest disabling v-sync and others claim G-Sync monitors need it for optimal performance. I own a G-Sync compatible screen, yet I still experience tearing when moving my mouse vertically (no visible issues when scrolling horizontally). When I switch v-sync off in-game and in the NVIDIA control panel, tearing persists—fast mode reduces it slightly but not completely. Switching it back to on removes the problem entirely. I’m not sure if changing v-sync affects latency much, but I’m worried about added delay when I turn it on. I currently cap my FPS at 143 to stay within my monitor’s G-Sync range. My last resort is turning everything off and testing lower FPS (like around 500 in Valorant) to balance latency and performance, while avoiding CPU strain that could cause more lag. There’s also a “Low latency mode” option available on Ultra.

I follow this setup and it functions adequately for me.
Low latency mode: Ultra G-sync enabled
Power Management: Performance VSync
Performance VSync: Fast Tripple buffering off
Frame Rate cap: 160fps (for 144Hz monitors, use 140fps)
