Best performance setting for the GTX 960
Hey there, I'm looking to boost the performance of my EVGA GTX 960 SSC GPU. I'm new to overclocking and need advice on a suitable clock speed. My system includes an Intel core i7-4790K CPU, 20GB DDR3 1333 RAM, a Gigabyte Z97x Gaming-5 Mobo, and a Corsair 850W CX850M power supply. Anyone have suggestions on what clock would work best for my card?
Obtain MSI afterburner. Increase your core clock by 100 MHz, perform a stress test; if it remains stable, add another 100 MHz. If unstable, reduce by 50 MHz. Keep an eye on temperatures. Once you reach a stable core setting, switch to memory. You may also boost the voltage to help stabilize the overclock.
High standards are being met as Nvidia has improved its 28nm technology. It seems this GPU will run faster than any you've had before, likely reaching between 1300 to 1400MHz with boosts.

I've reached 2200mhz and maintained 100% stability even at low temperatures. Here are my GPU specifications: http://imgur.com/sdNprGA
Have you checked if it handles stress tests properly? I don't believe it will remain stable without power.
I've run it through 20 tests and it's stable, I just finished stressing it for more than 12 hours and it remains stable.
