Hi
I'm looking for parts to build a computer for someone who mainly uses it for navigation, office work, and creating videos with Windows Movie Maker style apps.
I need a new CPU with an integrated GPU that works with Windows 11 and future IA tools requiring updated CPU functions. It shouldn’t be for gaming, so I want something affordable.

In the past, I built a similar setup using:
Intel Celeron G1820
4 GB DDR-3 1333 Dual Channel
Asrock H81M-HDS
It functioned well, but now I want to upgrade to modern components.

What do you recommend? I feel quite outdated.
Budget: 200-300
Usage: office, browsing the internet, watching movies

Do you have a monitor?
Yes
Parts to buy: all
Recommended sites:
www.amazon.es
or
www.pccomponentes.com
Location: Spain

Yu should format your post in a way similar to this discussion; adapting the original thread about asking for new build or upgrade advice. This was made to address the increasing number of requests for upgrade guidance both here and on the CPU forums, so I thought it would be helpful to share this approach. Including details like the specific apps, budget range, location, and preferred purchasing site can improve the relevance of the suggestions.

It might be a good idea to look into buying a refurbished office machine from companies like Dell or HP. Their prices are difficult to match, and these systems generally offer strong durability.

Do you require all parts or just the CPU, motherboard, and RAM?

did you observe that the cpu needs to be a new version? this cpu was released in 2018 and has been around for six years.

I don't have pricing information in Spain, but even here constructing a system under $300 with the newest CPU will be challenging. It will likely land you in the budget CPU segment, similar to Celeron (Q3 2022) or Athlon (availability outside OEM). You should examine the most basic B series motherboard, a single RAM stick, and maybe a 2.5" SSD—perhaps you can locate a compact M.2 drive within your budget. However, this approach will also demand a low-end power supply, an affordable case, and likely a used or refurbished monitor.

It is not feasible to provide an ideal suggestion without understanding the exact parts you require within your 2/300 euro budget. The 2400g is a 4-core 8-thread CPU that significantly outperforms the Celeron model you previously owned. Using a CPU released in the past year or two is likely to exceed your budget, depending on the components you choose. An illustration of a "new" CPU configuration that surpasses this budget is not suitable.
