Hi Everyone!
I’m getting into university next year and am considering a reliable laptop.
Right now I own a 128GB Surface Pro 6, but the limited storage is a bit of an issue and the detachable keyboard is a real drawback, especially given its lack of stability and flexibility while typing.
My course seems to need only basic word processing, light graphing, and some data handling, so I probably won’t require anything beyond integrated graphics.
I’m planning to spend about $1300 ±$200 AUD, with around 256GB to 500GB storage, a solid keyboard, and good battery life.
The laptops I’m thinking of are…
256GB 8GB M1 MacBook Air
Inspiron 14

Inspiron 15
https://deals.dell.com/en-au/productdetail/bajq
Inspiron 14 7000
https://deals.dell.com/en-au/productdetail/bajs
Any advice on my suggestions or other ideas would be really appreciated.
Thanks!

There are various SKUs within each series to differentiate specifications between different models. This is why we request links to the specific laptops you're interested in. We can proceed once the links are parsed for the targeted laptop. If you need recommendations beyond your current list, please adhere to this thread's format for a customized response.
