Checking the optimal DPI for CS:GO is important. Right now you're at 800, which is a solid setting. Whether it's high depends on your monitor resolution and playstyle—some prefer lower for smoother FPS. Consider testing around 1000–1200 if you want better performance, but don’t exceed what your screen can handle.

I choose 800dpi since I can't use 450dpi on a 1080p screen. The right DPI mix is what counts, you can try 3600dpi and 0.5 sens or similar.

Ryan Leech mentioned similar experiences, noting that some players prefer low DPI with high sensitivity. Although personal taste varies, Curse has shared this idea in a YouTube video. Adjust gradually to a new DPI and tweak sensitivity during practice shots—focus on 360s and 180s until you feel confident. Test against bots and refine your setup. It won’t be easy, so stay persistent and spend at least an hour experimenting before moving on. For transferring settings across games, check out the mouse-sensitivity website.

I've noticed pros using various DPI settings in CSGO, yet their sensitivity stayed low. To find the right setting for matching equivalent sensitivity, visit this site: http://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/
