I don't think this will occur unless a very cheap used cpu is found, and then I'd worry about the low price. There aren't any 4-core Intel CPUs at 150 or lower, especially unlocked ones. A dual-core Pentium G can be obtained for under 100 and can be overclocked.

Samuels sam :
Requires a minimum of 4 cores. Consider a 4690k with Z87 MB, or Z97 if needed, or an 3570K with Z77 MB. Alternatively, opt for an AMD processor with octa-core chips like 8350 or 8320, or wait for the upcoming Zen release. You might also look at a 4670k with Z87/Z97, which doesn't require a bios update.

It requires frequent overclocking because it struggles to maintain stable performance, leading to instability and reduced efficiency.

Samuels sam :
There are ways to refresh bios on some boards (like expensive Asus models) without having the CPU or RAM installed. However, other boards require all compatible parts—CPU and RAM—to apply a bios update. The 5675C model is an exception because it can't be updated before a bios upgrade; you'll need a compatible processor first, or visit a local shop that offers this service.
