I'm looking for a CPU that matches the performance of your GTX 1650 while being more affordable. The i5 12400F is a solid choice, but there are other options you might consider.

Consider getting an i5 10400 or 11400. I used a 3080 with a 10400 for about six months without issues. There were some minor bottlenecks, but an i5 1650 would be slightly cheaper and wouldn’t cause much of a difference.

To cut costs, consider using an AM4 socket. While it's limited, 5800X3D performs well compared to modern CPUs. You might find used CPUs a few years later. In practice, an 1650 chip could reach its limits with something like a R5 3600, or even a 12100 if you're targeting Intel 12/13 generations.

I’d go with the Ryzen 5 5600 because it’s affordable and offers plenty of flexibility for future upgrades. It also works well with games that demand more CPU power, ensuring you’re covered.
