The 3670k is an AMD A6 processor, not an i3 3670k. You might install an A8 3870K for a slight improvement, but it wouldn't be a big jump. For a more noticeable boost, consider switching platforms instead.

You seem to have a few issues: 1) The Intel 6-core CPU you mentioned is an i5, not an i3. 2) The 3670 chipset doesn't exist—there is an i5 4670 instead. 3) Your motherboard model matters for compatibility, not just the socket type.

CPU details: Intel® Core™ i5-3570K @ 3.40GHz. I was at work when I shared this, but the whole setup feels quite outdated. Switching to a fresh configuration due to ongoing problems is more than I prefer. Originally planned to construct a new system in March, but right now I’d rather be able to stream games. My motherboard is an MSI Z77A-GD55.

The top performance you can achieve is around 3770/3770K, but these prices don’t justify the value (this comes from someone who has a 3770). With a GTX 650, using NVENC isn’t necessary because CPU encoding is already available.
