You could accommodate an NH-D15S if you manage to fit a hyper 212 Evo. It's considered one of the top air coolers. If you prefer an AIO, brands like NZXT, Corsair, Coolermaster, etc., work well. They tend to be comparable in performance.

Will a H105 Extreme from Corsair match or exceed the ND-D15 in air cooling? I've heard the H105 handles overclocking better. With low-profile RAM, as long as the radiator sits above the RAM, it shouldn't be an issue.
I chose the H80i v2 despite not needing it, and it should work just as well as my Hyper 212 EVO.
The H105 is essentially identical to the NH-D15. For AIO systems in this category, you might achieve superior performance than a Big Air cooler by increasing the fan and pump speeds to their maximum, although they will sound more like a jet engine compared to the quiet maximum speed fan of the Big Air cooler.

For AIO units in that range, you might achieve better performance by pushing the fan and pump to their maximum, but they’ll feel like a jet engine compared to the quiet max speed fan the big air cooler offers. I’d prefer an AIO cooler instead. The H80i v2 covers my needs perfectly, even for the Hyper 212 EVO. That’s what I’m going to choose.
