Hey everyone! I'm searching for an affordable video editor under 100 euros, mainly for editing game clips. I don't want unnecessary fancy effects like some cheaper options offer. Sony Vegas sounds great but it's too pricey for me. I'd prefer a legal tool that lets me add cool effects for gaming montages. Do you know of any free editors that could work? Thanks!

Most video editors fall into just two categories: the basic, free options or the high-end paid tools. Also, avoid using Sony Vegas since it lacks strong GPU support.

Have you ever examined G.I.M.P.? I've been using it for years. The instructions aren't very clear, but a bit of experimentation will help you understand it.

Gimp is mainly for photo and image editing, not video. It’s not reliable for that purpose. Their customer service isn’t much better either—they say they offer a full refund policy but haven’t honored my request.
