Best AM4 air cooler??
Best AM4 air cooler??
Drea.drechsler suggests considering Noctua NH-D15, but notes that additional factors might alter this choice. It appears quite bulky, especially when viewed on YouTube, and masks the appeal of RGB RAMs. You were correct about that. I intended to use NH-D15 for my build starting in the first week of the new year, but after watching videos, it seemed too large and unappealing. Ultimately, I opted for Dark Pro 4 or U14S with an AM4 mounting bracket instead.

Probably the Noctua NH-D15. But if you add a few more factors into the choice, it could easily alter things. It looks pretty rough, for example.
You're right about that. I was planning to use the NH-D15 for the rig I'm assembling in the first week of the new year (PCPartPicker). But after watching YouTube videos, it seems so large it looks kind of unattractive, and it hides all the fun of RGB RAMs.
🙁
So I decided to skip it and opt for either Dark Pro 4 or U14S with an AM4 mounting bracket.
But if you need that kind of air cooling, you'll probably have to accept covering at least some RGB DIMMs.
The other option is a 240mm+ AIO liquid cooler for maximum cooling while keeping the CPU/DIMM space open for admiring the beauty of RGB inside!
But if you desire that amount of air cooling, you'll likely have to accept covering at least some RGB DIMM components. The other option is a 240mm+ AIO liquid cooler that provides similar cooling while keeping the CPU/DIMM space visible for admiration of its vibrant RGB features!
LordVile shares an impressive Bequiet cooler with 130mm height and 220W TDP. It really stands out.
