I own a Ryzen 5 2600, 16 3000mhz ram, x470 Gigabyte - X470 AORUS ULTRA board that I'm planning to assemble. What cooling solution in the $50-65 range can reliably reach around 4.1ghz? Or should I stick with the 2600x? I was thinking about the Masterliquid 120 or an air cooler since my case provides good airflow. I have the Phanteks EThoo Pro M with five case fans, allowing me to add another 140, a 120 AIO, or switch to an air cooler. My main use is gaming and browsing, with occasional photo editing.

I own roughly three of these in my home office. The Threadripper performed better, but on our Intel testing rig, the MA410M surpassed it: I would suggest the MA410M as the best choice among these Cooler Master air coolers. The MA410M and the MA410M TUF Edition are identical except for the stickers and color scheme.

I don't suggest any 120mm AIO. Opt for a solid air cooler instead.

120mm liquid coolers tend to perform worse compared to quality air coolers, especially when priced at double the cost. Consider them only if you prioritize the appearance and are willing to tolerate less optimal temperature performance.

Yeah, I've tried a few (Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML120L and the NZXT Kraken M22)...it's better to go with a decent midsize or big air cooler.
The only reason someone would choose a 120mm AIO is for really tight space needs or to show off having liquid cooling, which actually works worse than air cooling.

rubix_1011 :
Yeah, have tested a couple (Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML120L and the NZXT Kraken M22)...better off with a great midsize or big air cooler.
Only reason anyone would buy a 120mm AIO is for extremely cramped space requirements or to tell your friends 'you have liquid cooling' (that performs worse than air cooling).
do you have any good suggestions, I was thinking about the cryorig c5 ultimate with an am4 bracket

The Cooler Master MasterAir MA410M is quiet! Dark Rock 4 or Dark Rock 4 Pro recommended. Is the Cooler Master MA 620p suitable for my Ryzen 5 2600? https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a...6835103265
