I understand - I'm here to measure the experience and express my thoughts on which games suit me best and which don't.

The testing issues stem from network conditions heavily affecting performance. Using powerline makes it difficult to pinpoint input lag sources. Your feedback is mostly irrelevant for someone with a full Gigabit connection between PC and TV. Generally, I support the Steam Link concept. My configuration closely matches ideal conditions for streaming via Steam Link. If it delivers comparable results to in-home playback without needing a physical TV connection, it's a solid investment.

In general, my situation seems quite sensible. Many households lack organized cabling (especially in the UK), making this the optimal setup for most users. If I’m enjoying myself, then those with pure gigabit connections—like anyone using Steam Link’s 100M interface—will likely have an even smoother experience. I was really excited about Steam Link when I first learned about it. The idea of having two boxes versus a powerful PC and a great streaming app is something I find appealing.
