I've just received my Samsung 960 EVO and haven't installed the software yet. I'm wondering if it's best to start benchmarking before installing Magician, as this might affect accuracy. Can I install and disable features regularly for testing? Are there any potential issues I should be aware of before proceeding?

Install Samsung's newest Magician version, update its firmware, and install the driver.
There have been past problems with Rapid Mode, but the 960 Evo should now work fully with Windows 10. I'm not sure what you meant by throw off benchmarks—run a test and check if you're achieving the promised speed. Use Magician to fine-tune the drive performance.

Compare it with Samsung Magician. That's the top choice for a Samsung SSD. You don't have to do anything unusual. Simply connect it.

The information indicates that Win10 Pro is listed as your OS, yet it claims incompatibility with Rapid Mode. Magician should still function properly from the benchmarks.

Past problems with Rapid Mode have been resolved; the 960 Evo should now work smoothly with Windows 10. You might be referring to some benchmark results—test them and use Magician to fine-tune performance.
