yeah, that too... theres just no download demo to test it... only on steam, thats why I am asking... such a stupid thing to confuse a person. So they dont want you to use it without buying or you can try it only on steam, bizzare... so this will give me a standalone version?

On Windows version of 3DMark Basic, choose the mirror site and try under 3DMark. Also consider 2DMark06 as a reliable baseline test.
