Hi everyone. I'm new around here and I already saw this thread get removed immediately, but I’m not sure what happened. I have a couple of observations about how my CPU and GPU behave while playing GTA V using MSI Afterburner. Since I’m not very technical, I really appreciate any advice you can give me. I’ve done my best to research, but some questions still remain unanswered.

My PC details:
- AMD RX 470
- Intel i5-6402p
- 2x 4 GB RAM
- 1TB HDD (no SSD)
- Windows 10

GPU issues: The graphics usage is changing so rapidly every second. It swings from 100% to 2%, then drops to 99% to 0%, and keeps oscillating. Temperatures stayed steady between 152 and 158°F during the game, which is within a safe range. The game ran smoothly at around 60 FPS most of the time, with only brief drops to 53-55 for a few seconds every few minutes—completely unnoticeable. I notice smoother performance when I increase the settings, but when I lower them, the fluctuations continue, and frame drops become more frequent. I’m wondering if this kind of behavior could damage my GPU or affect its longevity. Is this normal?

CPU concerns: My CPU was running at 90-95% usage throughout the session, which is well above the recommended 70-80%. Each core stayed stable between 118 and 120°F—still within safe limits. I’m concerned about whether this high load might cause wear or failure over time. Should I be worried?

It wasn't removed yet; it was pending approval before becoming public. I've just given the approval, you can check here: https://forums.
