Yea they are almost identical but the Omega has an extra fuel scoop underneath the cabin which is supposed to recharge the boost quicker (and some cringe worthy AMD advertising painted on it ).
Currently, I’m considering purchasing the Karthu-al (standalone) because I like its concept, appearance, and overall design. The included hangar is also appealing, though it’s only offered on premium packages or higher-cost models. My main challenge is choosing the right package. I’m leaning toward the 325A, one of the Hornet variants, or the cutlass blue anniversary. While the cutlass isn’t the flashiest option, it offers the best value in its extras and warranty. The final question I have is about which models can be used in the arena commander right now. I know the Karthu isn’t available, and the cutlass doesn’t fit the available class options. If you have any suggestions—even if they change my plan—I’d appreciate your input.
Right now we have the cutlass black, the avenger, all the hornets, the 300's, the aurora's, and the mustangs. More will join soon. If you don’t own a ship that works in the current arena commander, CIG will provide a loaner. The value of your existing ships determines what you get. Even if you don’t have the right build, you’ll still have a functional ship. If you like a particular one, grab it—if you can afford it, the stats and controls are still evolving. Everything remains fluid and changing.
There will also be an unexpected event at the shop a week after the anniversary discount concludes, according to the posts shared by the community manager.
