You can boot from the USB drive directly. Plug it in and turn on your PC; the system will detect the boot device automatically. Make sure the USB is properly connected and the drive is recognized. Your ASRock H97 motherboard should support this setup.

You access the BIOS, pick USB as the initial boot device, restart the computer using the saved settings, and you’re done. Just install Windows, then you’re finished—just return to BIOS to set the first boot drive to the HDD. Hope this helps, Adam.

Wait for the system to start, then enter the BIOS settings. Adjust the boot sequence so the USB drive comes first. This will trigger the Windows installation during the next boot, with instructions like "press any key to boot from USB" displayed.
