I was operating the system smoothly (browsing the web and formatting a USB while preparing a Linux boot media) when it abruptly stopped (no BSOD or related alerts, just power cut off) and entered an endless restart cycle. The motherboard display briefly shows 00 before restarting again. The video captures this pattern clearly. PC specs: MB: ASUS X99 A-ii CPU: Intel Xeon E5 2620-V4 RAM: 8G DDR4 2400(running at 2133MHz) x4 (32G total, Quad channel), AMD RX480 GPU, 8GB Intel SSD (PCIe slot), WD SN550 SSD (internal m.2 slot), Samsung 970 EVO Plus (expansion card PCIe slot), 3 mechanical drives, PSU: Corsair RM650x. After disassembly, motherboard and CPU remain intact, same outcome. PSU tested functional. Anyone experienced similar problems? Would appreciate advice. Also, what typically happens if the board is powered on without a CPU? 271.mp4

I've noticed this pattern when a component shorts the motherboard. I think I should take the board out of its case and try to boot it separately. This will help make sure everything is rebuilt properly and nothing is overlooked. Use just one DIMM in the main slot. Probably... it won't work anymore.

Checked it outside with no success. Can you verify if your PCIe cards are functioning properly? Your GPU still flashes its RGB lights occasionally when the system might be failing.

No CPU right away the error sounds or lights up, or it doesn’t attempt to start at all. This isn’t helpful for troubleshooting.
