Hello, I'm on Windows 10 1803 Pro and I'm looking for a way to get Windows Defender alerts when it detects an infected file. It usually just removes the file without warning, which is frustrating since it often happens too frequently. Do you have any suggestions?

Disable Windows Defender, instruct your antivirus to disregard suspicious files. Launch your keygen, and it should function... Haha!

To prevent automatic removal of files, locate Windows Defender settings, tap on 'Virus and threat protection', then 'Virus and treat protection settings', and switch off the 'Real-time protection' option. Make sure to reactivate it later once you're finished.

You can instruct the defender to exclude specific folders, which is my usual approach.
