Windows is experiencing several problems, including update failures, random audio issues, and needing to shut down via power button. Most of my files are stored on a backup drive. Before reinstalling, consider checking your system health, ensuring stable power, and backing up important data if possible.

You're not sure, but as long as your key documents are safely stored, you should be fine.

The safest method is to create multiple copies of your files and store them in different locations. This way, you’ll have peace of mind and avoid losing anything unexpectedly.

Considering an external HDD would be ideal, or leveraging cloud platforms like Google Drive would also be excellent options.

I believe uploading to Google Drive might take a long time, so I’ll opt for using a network drive on your router instead.
