My gaming setup is my main focus. I own a 2018 Dell XPS 13 that I plan to use for streaming, paired with a Logitech C922 webcam and an HTC Vive Pro Eye using a wireless adapter. For the stream, I’m considering the Elgato Collapsible Green Screen and an AVerMedia AVerCapture HD. I’m not aiming for high frame rates or ultra-high resolution; instead, I want a smooth, 1080p 30fps mixed reality broadcast with minimal disruption to my gameplay. I rarely experience major lag, but using OBS natively with games like heavily modded Skyrim VR causes noticeable frame drops that ruin immersion. That’s why I’ve decided against mirroring and need an external streaming PC with a capture card. I’m not sure how all this works, but I’m eager to figure it out with the right gear. Right now, I don’t have the budget for everything, and problems keep popping up unexpectedly. I’m reaching out to the community to see if I can get the necessary equipment or if there’s something missing. If you have tips on setting this up, I’d really appreciate it—just as long as the gear I need is confirmed. As a side note, I’m also using the Vive Wireless Adapter, but I’m uncertain if it will work without extra load on my PC. If it does, that’s all I need to know.
