Hello... I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned the yearly charity event for Extra Life. It's a fundraising effort that assists families with medical expenses. The gathering occurs over a 24-hour period, though it isn't restricted to those hours. Our group, Team SUNFLOWERS, is dedicated to supporting children through video games and we're seeking your assistance. Each member has selected a local Children's Miracle Network Hospital where numerous children receive treatment annually, irrespective of financial constraints. These young patients confront serious challenges such as cancer, cystic fibrosis, and accident-related injuries. We aim to join a worldwide celebration highlighting the positive influence of gamers via Extra Life. Our sincere request is for you to consider contributing monthly or making a one-time donation that directly benefits the chosen hospital. Your contribution is tax-deductible and all funds are directed toward helping these children. Last year, Extra Life collected over $6 million to aid kids, but this year's objectives are significantly higher in line with the urgent needs we address. We rely on your support. Well... this isn't about asking for donations. This is about asking if anyone wants to join the team SUNFLOWERS. If you join the team (it's free) any donations you earn by gaming/streaming can be put into the Team donation pile. It costs nothing to be on the team, and I'm not asking for donations here... just teammates. With a team, it is easier to reach a set goal together, instead of trying to reach that goal by ourselves. So any gamers/streamers who would like to participate are welcome to join in and BE A HERO !
It would be great. The "Official" gathering usually happens near the end of 2015, but we can take our time throughout the year to connect with teammates and support those in need. Donations aren’t required. Please join if you can and spread the word—more teammates mean more impact! BE A HERO!
