Hello everyone,
My friend and I are hoping to play PUBG together. I prefer the PlayStation 4, but he dislikes using a PlayStation controller for shooter games like PUBG. Therefore, I’d like to inquire whether PC and PS4 hosts are compatible, and if we can play together.
Alternatively, could he connect a mouse and keyboard to his PlayStation 4 and play PUBG?
P.S.: I have already purchased PUBG on my PSN account, so we won’t need to purchase it again.
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds lacks compatibility across various systems, meaning you can't play alongside others who are using different gaming platforms.
Fortnite might serve as an alternative?

He dislikes the PlayStation 4 controller for first-person shooter games. He doesn’t enjoy Fortnite.
Could you try removing this friend and adding someone new who is compatible with the PS4?
To use a keyboard and mouse with your PlayStation 4, you'll need to enable the feature in the system settings. Here’s how:

2. Turn on the “Enable Mouse and Keyboard” option.
3. Choose your preferred control scheme – either “PlayStation Button” or “Touchpad”.
Note: Not all games support keyboard and mouse.
Certainly, the question of whether PUBG supports keyboard and mouse is another point of contention. I don't believe it will, given that it wouldn't facilitate cross-play.
Furthermore, it will be challenging to defeat your friend if he employs a keyboard and mouse.
