It's just a guess, but based on what others are discussing, I wouldn't be shocked if a 980Ti could run it smoothly at high quality without using AA at 4k resolution—similar to about 3440x1440 at decent frame rates.

According to the 2560x1440 Guru3d tests, achieving over 60 frames per second is possible at up to 3440x1440 resolution or near that level.
