Battlefront
I think what matters most was the part you mentioned about the battlefield reskin adding charm. Modding also plays a significant role in Star Wars, as I've experienced by trying more than 15 changes. I wouldn't want to alter that.
Personally, I’m not overly concerned, but I really wouldn’t mind a fresh look for Battlefield. Right now it’s decent, though it has some problems that I hope get resolved. What I’m most excited about is the feeling whenever I jump into a chopper—it instantly brings to mind a vivid scene: if I could, I’d dedicate all my free time to reworking Battlefield 4 so it would feel like Star Wars. There’s a tiny part of me that dreams of being a Clone Trooper launching from a LAAT onto Geonosis and firing a few Battle Droids.
I tried a few rounds of Battlefront 2 on Xbox, but after checking some tutorials, I think I’d struggle with the awkward controls and old-school gameplay.
Absolutely, that's a solid observation. It seems the Battlefront lineup could use an update, and I'm curious about whether Frostbite is the right choice for the next installment. Personally, I'm excited to see what's coming up, but I'm also wondering if I'll really like it.
Ubisoft consistently enhances E3 presentations far beyond what EA has ever achieved. Second, Watchdogs runs smoothly on older platforms like PS3, Xbox360 and Wii, eliminating the need for compromises. Third, with the upcoming 800-900 series, we’ll see strong performance from mid-range GPUs like GTX780 Ti, and DX12/Mantle support right away. Many overlook how powerful modern GPUs can be. The Last of Us runs on DX9 with just 256MB RAM and a CPU lacking even basic graphics features. I’m sure most GPUs today can handle it, especially with something like GTX780 Ti offering roughly 25 times the PS3’s power. DICE also provides solid bug support, collaborating with players to resolve issues—unlike Ubisoft, which still struggles with persistent problems such as the loading bug. They release updates regularly, not just for Battlefield but also Frostbite 3. While some criticize EA for poor quality, they do address issues when reported. DICE stands out among developers for delivering a much smoother PC experience compared to consoles.
