i experience stuttering in battlefield v similar to when i take a shot and die, or when switching from checking the sky to looking at something with lots of rendering. after trying to clean my pc, the stuttering noticeably improved.

Ryzen experiences significant issues with limited memory bandwidth, and single-channel RAM exacerbates the problem. Think about switching to a different 3000MHz model.

Absolutely, I can test V-Sync at 60Hz and see how it performs.
You mentioned you likely have a bottleneck, so syncing it might improve stability significantly.

I've done everything possible, but a clean boot seems to be the only solution. Is this related to reduced overall system RAM usage, or are you asking about RAM that's causing a bottleneck?

Yes, your Ryzen works well for regular tasks, but for gaming it's crucial to use Dual Channel. You might manage fine with Single Channel, though games usually require Dual.

it is common for such games to function properly, though some may experience minor issues. the stutters in apex legends could be due to system performance or settings.

Ryzen relies heavily on rams for maximum performance. In single-channel mode it severely impacts the CPU. Other games don’t consume as much CPU, which is why they run smoothly without stuttering but with lower FPS. BF5 is very CPU-intensive and causes stuttering when the CPU reaches its limit. Upgrading to dual-channel improves things—other games see an increase in FPS by 10-30 and BF5 stops stuttering.

This problem isn't limited to Ryzen. I experienced significant issues with a low-cost RAM stick featuring a 9900k, which I had for several weeks after purchasing my PC in parts. I strongly advise investing in a dual-channel setup.
