Battlefield V limited to 60 frames per second
Overclocking in the BIOS caused Battlefield V to crash twice, reverting the BIOS to default settings resolved benchmark tests. The NVIDIA Control Panel reset to factory settings after the crashes, despite identical custom Battlefield V settings; frame rate dropped from 90 fps to 60 fps and remains capped at 60 fps, potentially breaking the game. Reinstalling did not resolve the issue, with all graphics settings saved. I7-8700k processor, RTX 2080 graphics, 32GB RAM, 165Hz monitor; all hardware functions correctly.
Returned home and completely reverted graphics settings to their original values, which resolved the issue. Now I need to determine how to achieve frame rates exceeding 90 FPS.
