Battlefield 5 problems
Hello everyone,
I’m hoping to run Battlefield V on its lowest graphics options, however my computer isn’t powerful enough. My specifications are: Intel Core i5-4670L, NVIDIA GTX 760 with 2 GB of memory, B85-G41 PC Mate motherboard, and 8 GB of RAM. I've observed others successfully running it on similar hardware, but mine is struggling for an unknown reason. I conducted various tests using Heaven and FurMark; Heaven produced a low frame rate (around 12-15 frames per second) with minimal heat (68 degrees Celsius), while FurMark achieved sufficient FPS alongside elevated temperatures (87 degrees Celsius). The CPU appears to be experiencing strain during gameplay, consistently reaching 100% utilization. I recently purchased a robust fan designed for extreme CPU overclocking through Extreme Tuning. While it's likely time for an upgrade, I typically avoid replacing components unless they are malfunctioning. Sadly, this motherboard lacks SLI support, ruling out the option of purchasing another inexpensive GTX 760. I also attempted to use MSI Afterburner without success. Do you have any further recommendations?
You are not explaining what exactly the problem is.
It is supposed to run slow on your system.
Your CPU runs at about 3.5Ghz at default and your GPU only has 2gb of vram.
In single player campaigns or on smaller maps you should get a decent level of performance but on larger maps or with plenty of people on line performance will be bad.
Overclocking will help a lot if you were running at default till now.
That's a really detailed explanation! It clearly outlines the system's capabilities and potential performance issues, especially relating to game load times and online multiplayer experiences. The breakdown of CPU and GPU specs alongside the map size considerations is particularly helpful for understanding why certain scenarios might be problematic. The suggestion about overclocking is also a practical solution to improve performance.
