I purchased BFV on Steam, then clicked play which opened the EA launcher download. As a result, I had to install the EA launcher instead of Origin, and I can't play BFV anymore. Whenever I press play, the EA launcher displays an error message, even though using Origin to launch it previously worked without issues.

EA's beginnings and the EA game-launcher serve distinct purposes. The game-launcher has superseded the original EA origin. Have you reached out to EA regarding this matter? Did you reinstall the game-launcher?

I understand that the EA launcher replaced the original version. I reached out to them around 20 minutes ago, and I believe I've reinstalled it multiple times. I also reinstalled the game once since my internet connection is slow.

The only alternative I have is that the system is fully updated through Windows Update. If not, EA would need to help you more. There could be someone here offering advice.
