I sold BF4 yesterday since it felt so dull at release and the months that passed—even with the costly DLC I paid for—didn’t change that. Now people say, “Oh, it’s fine now! They fixed it! It’s so much fun!” Really? Why wasn’t it like this when it launched? Why did I have to wait two years for things to improve? I bought Hardline and played it around five times. That’s $60 wasted, and I told myself I’d never buy another Battlefield again. Not even Star Wars. Maybe if they deliver a great BF5 on launch, I’ll think about it. Another thing I could complain about is this futuristic approach—it’s being overdone. I just want to go back to World War II once more. Hell, we don’t really have a major World War I or Vietnam title, so why not make one?
