The hardline strategy really let me down, it felt like we took a step backward. A lot of personal choices were taken away and the maps got much smaller. Sure, the game wasn’t terrible, but compared to bf4 it was a big loss, and since nobody plays that aggressive style, the servers aren’t doing well.
It's still over 5 months until the next Battlefield releases, which is enough time to play Battlefield 4 until you're ready for something new. Definitely go for for Battlefield 4, with Premium, which'll give you all the map DLC. There are lots of players for Bf4 ( http://bf4stats.com/ ), and tons of content. It'll keep you busy until Battlefield 1 releases. Hardline has hardline-any (OMG LOL) players for it, and it isn't as polished or expansive a product as Bf4.
In four months it will likely be a hit or miss. #ripcod #overhype
I doubt I'll receive the updated battlefield because it's too costly.
