Decide whether to purchase or not, as I’m unsure which option is best. I’m also looking for opinions from players in both games within the community.

I favor BF3, it's not about networking or anything similar; the maps are just better in BF3.

Battlefield 4 shines in its graphics and sound, yet the multiplayer mode remains challenging to master.

Played with this franchise since 1942 and I must say both titles are excellent. BF4 has a few issues compared to BF3, but it still works well because there are more players, making it easier to find active servers that match your preferences. Unfortunately, that situation no longer exists with BF3.

Battlefield 4 offers improved weapons and maps, though the multiplayer scene is still quite rough right now. Battlefield 3 wasn’t my favorite for multiplayer, except for the Canals level on TDM with 64 players (that was wild). Personally, Battlefield Bad Company 2 on Steam was the top choice. Bf3 and Bf4 didn’t manage to capture the same vibe as Call of Duty and ended up falling short.
