Is it a drain on your funds? The cost remains similar across platforms...in fact, it might be lower on Origin because EA controls that service and can offer competitive pricing without paying retailers.

Curious. Why didn’t they create their own console then? They don’t appear to care about taking a cut from the big three… That’s okay for me. It’s their problem. I just removed the Origin app recently. I’m not keen on installing a browser extension just to play an EA title.

Many players purchase their titles on consoles rather than PCs. Launching an "EA Console" would be a mistake for them—they'd waste money since no one would buy a console solely with EA games. On PC, you don’t need an Origin client or account; it’s free to play and purchase the game, so both sides have no conflict over services. I understand that browser extensions can be frustrating, which is why I only play BF games occasionally. I’m happy they’re not using it for Star Wars either.

Is it MMO RPG or Battlefront? I'm in, definitely plug-in... Now Chrome isn't working with Flash or anything, so I can't even play. GG
