It should work because the focus is on rendering the game, not just opening windows. I tried an old game with many background processes on my desktop, and its VRAM usage varied. On Windows 10, I typically use around 56MB, whereas I see only 200/300MB being utilized. It might be due to other applications running in the background.

I’ve significantly improved the machine’s performance to reduce system and video memory usage. As mentioned, Origin is essential for launching BF1 and playing online, but it heavily consumes VRAM. Anyway, I did some investigation and it seems the dual-core i3 is the main issue—not because the processor is weak, but because the game manages tasks across four threads. There are adjustments to prioritize certain threads via thread affinity to help smooth performance. So far, nothing has resolved the problem for me. The game appears designed for four cores. I’m curious if AMD dual-module CPUs face similar stuttering problems.

i wrote the problem was the cpu, see my post with 2 videos in your video, msi afterburner says always 100% on cpu.. but i didn't know that thing about i3s , i saw i3 6100 works fine on bf1, maybe you have an old i3. for vram, i hope there is a bit of optimazation and the vram of windows goes on allocated memory, if you go to your gpu setting on windows, it will says you have like 3x the vram that you really have, i hope it does.. and for cpu problem, strange, but can help to block stutter, set higher graphic settings, it will increase gpu usage and doesn't let the cpu to stay at 100% and block stutter, i think the cpu is very stressed because your ram is maxed too like the vram, and cpu has to do a lot more things.

It seems with less than 8GB of RAM, the graphics automatically run at a lower setting, similar to what happened in BF4.
