I don’t understand what’s going wrong with this game. With my 980ti and an i5 6600 with 8gb of RAM, it runs quite poorly. The performance is terrible, especially during intense moments—FPS drops between 30 and 40, and even rush can occasionally fall below 60 FPS. My drivers are current, I’ve tried reducing settings, but lowering to low and ultra doesn’t help. Anyone with a similar setup who’s playing the game well would appreciate your advice on where to find the right configuration for running it smoothly.
I own a 4670k, 780 ti, and 24gb ram system that maintains 144 fps+ at all times on low settings with Mech Quality on Ultra. Back when BF4 launched, the game simply wouldn't launch on this machine—it would crash immediately. It took over a year before it finally worked properly, while others with comparable or worse hardware managed to run smoothly.
How much longer before everyone grasps that 8GB falls short for BF1? And even dual channel isn't enough—impressive!
I take my own trials for granted, not some fabricated facts from others. I was testing BF1 open beta with only 8 GB of DDR3 1600 RAM, running at 60 fps without any stutter or frame skipping. I don’t understand why you’re sharing misleading details. I didn’t purchase the final version, but I question whether DICE could have built it later to be unreliable with such limited memory.
