Experiencing problems with my laptop. When I power it off completely and wait a few days, the battery drains fully. It’s unclear why this happens since all power management settings are disabled except for the mouse, HDMI cable, and Ethernet. Fast startup and hibernation are also turned off. The device was purchased in 2021 and previously had a full charge lasting about 4 to 2 hours, depending on usage. Now the battery seems okay. What’s going on?

laptop batteries often wear out over time, and I’ve noticed they tend to last only as long as needed. Replacing them is usually the best solution. It seems like when they start showing signs of failure, it’s usually due to dead cells causing premature shutdowns.

It seems the power source isn't failing yet. After resting and completely disconnected, it reaches almost zero usage.

They often pass away because they're charged too much, which reveals its true nature.
