PiHole functions as a complete operating system, and I don’t think a Raspberry Pi can handle virtual machines well. I once used a Raspberry Pi 3B+ as my primary device (it stopped working) and it struggled to browse the web. Therefore, you wouldn’t be able to run it on the same hardware, you’d need the media server on another machine.
