I'm working with a USB wireless adapter connected via an external USB hub to my main PC. It's beginning to malfunction, so I switched to a PCIe wireless card for better performance. I've moved the antenna from the back to the front of the PC to improve signal strength. I need to identify the black device shown in the image you shared. I already have one of the models you mentioned, but I'm also considering this alternative from AliExpress. I'm searching on eBay for a wireless extender base station, but so far I'm getting irrelevant results.

Considered it as well; those tough plastic screws might need to push through that keyword search.

I noticed this product page here: https://www.bearifi.com/products/heavy-d...t_campaign It's quite pricey, though I'm unsure if the specifications match your NIC. Also, it seems the cable length might be too long for your NIC's power output.

Really, I hadn't considered how much the cable length impacts things... Nice work!

It seems the antenna should be placed on top of your PC instead of behind it for improved connectivity.
