Is the Core 2 Duo E6300 shown in the video identical to your processor? Honestly, a 17-year-old dual-core chip won’t perform well. Your capabilities will be quite restricted even if things go smoothly. Potential concerns could include just 4GB of RAM and a traditional hard disk drive. Running low on memory forces the system to rely on the hard drive’s page file, which will severely slow performance. If your machine feels extremely sluggish, the hard drive itself might be failing. Given the 500GB HDD and considering the age of other components, it seems the drive could be deteriorating. The positive side is that your GTX 970 graphics card should handle those games. If you upgraded to a newer setup, you could retain that GPU. Your current setup is outdated and can’t handle M.2 storage devices.
It's quite an old system! The GPU performs just about as well as the cheapest modern models (RX6500/A380). The biggest improvement would be selling it on eBay for a new build. If you can't afford the upgrade, consider boosting RAM to at least 8GB and swapping it for a SATA SSD—this should make it run faster and respond better.
