Hello everyone, I'm working with a pfSense router and trying to control download speeds. When a user starts downloading, others' internet speeds drop significantly, making the network almost unusable for everyone. I'm wondering if it's possible to prioritize certain clients or fairly share bandwidth among all users. Maybe a mix of both approaches? It would be great to have a clear name for this issue so I can look it up easily. A solution would really help. Thanks for any assistance!

Consult the pfSense documentation for details. Limits and QoS options are covered there.
