Hello, Your 3900x is reaching around 78-79°C during heavy use with the Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut and Thermalright peerless assassin. Are these readings normal? You're running the default fans and using an airflow setup with positive pressure and exhausting out the rear. It's drawing about 130-140 watts while maintaining those temps, which isn't extreme. Still, your father mentioned checking for potential long-term damage, so it's wise to investigate. Your motherboard is an MSI B550-A Pro.

Under maximum load 80°C performs well, particularly after prolonged use. The maximum I remember for that chip is 95°C, so 80°C should be safe.

To achieve cooler temperatures, perhaps cleaning your computer could reduce those loud fan sounds.
