Hello, I recently assembled a desktop and have faced occasional booting issues since its installation. Normally, powering it down forcefully and restarting resolves the problem, but today it didn’t work. My system uses an X570 Plus WIFI motherboard with indicator LEDs that change during boot stages. One showed an issue with DRAM, prompting troubleshooting steps. I disconnected both RAM modules, tested different slots, tried one stick at a time, and found it worked with one but not the other. When testing the second stick alone, it also failed to boot. It seems there may be a faulty RAM module. You have G Skill Trident Z Neo 2 sticks, each 16 GB at 3600 MHz. Any advice would be appreciated.
I’m confident about that faulty RAM issue. If the computer runs fine with one stick while failing with another, it’s likely the problem is the RAM module itself. Of course, there might be other factors involved, but those seem less likely compared to the RAM stick.
