Simulating fire often involves many quick moving shapes, which can strain memory if not handled properly. This shouldn’t usually cause out-of-memory issues, though it might in rare cases. Got a solid example you’d like to share? Edited August 5, 2022 by Bombastinator

Based on the videos you shared, it seems to be more of a software problem rather than a hardware issue. Reinstalling Windows often resolves such issues.

It could potentially resolve the issue. I’m not entirely sure what’s causing it, but a reinstall usually stabilizes the system and also acts as a drive swap, ensuring the storage is reliable. This helps eliminate some uncertainties. SSDs are especially beneficial—they’re significantly faster than traditional hard drives. For operating systems that require frequent reads, they can dramatically extend lifespan compared to HDDs. I’m not keen on interfering with that performance boost, as it offers great speed gains you’ll appreciate. Edited August 5, 2022 by Bombastinator

Absolutely hoping it works. It's really frustrating. I could probably install the RAM and NVMe once I have it and check it out, then just copy the drives as I've done before.

When it functions, it performs well. I don’t like cloning projects since older drives often have issues and copying them replicates those problems. Cloning simplifies things unless something goes wrong, then it becomes more complicated. Edited August 5, 2022 by Bombastinator
